Checking the tape condition before recording (ORC)
Comprobación del estado de la cinta antes de la grabación (ORC)
Use this feature to check the tape condition before recording, so that you can get the best possible picture.
(1)While in Standby mode, press MENU to display the menu.
(2)Turn the control dial to highlight ORC TO SET and press the control dial to select it. “START/STOP KEY” appears.
(3)Press START/STOP.
The camcorder takes about 5 seconds to check the condition of the tape head and the cassette.

Emplee esta función para comprobar el estado de la cinta antes de la grabación con el fin de obtener la mejor calidad de imagen posible.
(1)Durante el modo de espera, pulse MENU para que aparezca el menú.
(2)Gire el dial de control para resaltar ORC TO SET y, a continuación, púlselo para seleccionarlo. Aparece “START/STOP KEY”.
(3)Pulse START/STOP.
La videocámara tardará unos 5 segundos en comprobar el estado del cabezal de cinta y del videocassette.

Each time you insert the cassette
Perform the above procedures.
To see if you have performed ORC Perform steps 1 and 2 above. If “ORC ON” is displayed, the tape condition has been checked.
When the tab on the cassette exposes the red mark
You can not use ORC.
Note on ORC TO SET setting
When you set ORC TO SET, the recording on the tape is erased for about 0.1 second so that the camcorder can check the tape condition. Be careful when you use a recorded tape. The 0.1 second blank is erased if you record from the point where you set ORC TO SET for more than 2 seconds, or if you record over the blank. You cannot set ORC TO SET for a cassette with its tab out (red).
Cada vez que inserte el videocassette Realice los procedimientos descritos anteriormente.

Al definir ORC TO SET, la grabación de la cinta |

se borra durante 0,1 segundos aproximadamente, |

de forma que la videocámara pueda comprobar |

la condición de la cinta. Tome precauciones |

cuando emplee una cinta grabada. El espacio en |
|
blanco de 0,1 segundos se borra si realiza la |
|
grabación desde el punto en que ha definido |
|
ORC TO SET durante más de 2 segundos, o si ha |
|
grabado encima del espacio en blanco. No es |
|
posible definir ORC TO SET para una cinta sin | 57 |
lengüeta de seguridad (rojo). |
