Creating a desired picture without changing the exposure

When the aperture value is F11, the shutter speed is 1/50, and the gain level is 0 dB, adjust the aperture value manually to F5.6, as an example.

If you change the aperture value from F11 to F5.6 in the above example, the exposure from aperture control becomes brighter by +2 EV. Adjust the shutter speed and the gain so that the exposure becomes darker by –2 EV to not change the total exposure.

Example 1: changing only the shutter speed

To reduce the exposure by –2 EV using the shutter speed, you should change the shutter speed from 1/50 to 1/215 (1). (5 steps increase)

Example 2: setting the shutter speed to 1/425 and changing the gain level

When the shutter speed is changed from 1/50 to 1/425, the EV from the shutter speed control changes to –3 EV. To maintain total exposure,

+1 EV (2 steps) should be added by increasing the gain level. Change the gain level from 0 dB to +6 dB (2). Note that when you set the gain level higher, the picture may be distorted.

•When recording outdoors, the brightness of a subject may be affected by weather.

•When recording conditions change, we recommend that you reset each item.

Si el valor de apertura es F11, la velocidad de obturación 1/50 y el nivel de ganancia 0 dB, ajuste manualmente el valor de apertura en F5.6 a modo de ejemplo.

Si varía el valor de apertura de F11 a F5.6 en el ejemplo anterior, la exposición del control de apertura será más brillante en +2 EV. Ajuste la velocidad de obturación y la ganancia de forma que la exposición se oscurezca en –2 EV y la exposición total no varíe.

Ejemplo 1: Modificación sólo de la velocidad de obturación

Para reducir la exposición en –2 EV empleando la velocidad de obturación, cambie ésta de 1/50 a 1/215 1. (incremento de 5 intervalos)

Ejemplo 2: Ajuste de la velocidad de obturación en 1/425 y cambio del nivel de ganancia

Si cambia la velocidad de obturación de 1/50 a 1/425, el valor EV del control de dicha velocidad cambia a –3 EV. Para mantener la exposición total, debe añadirse el valor +1 EV (2 intervalos) incrementando el nivel de ganancia. Cambie éste de 0 dB a +6 dB 2. Observe que si ajusta el nivel de ganancia en un valor superior, la imagen puede distorsionarse.

Notas sobre el ajuste manual

•Si graba en exteriores, el brillo del objeto puede verse afectado por las condiciones meteorológicas.

•Si las condiciones de grabación cambian, se recomienda ajustar cada elemento.
