Using the Remote Commander, you can easily go back to the desired point on a tape after playback. Use the tape counter. If the RC time code appears in the viewfinder, set COUNTER to NORMAL in the menu system to display the tape counter.
(1) During playback, press COUNTER RESET at the point you later want to locate. The counter shows “0:00:00” in the viewfinder.
(2) Press ¹when you want to stop playback.
(3) Press ZERO MEM on the Remote Commander. The ZERO MEM indicator flashes in the viewfinder.
(4) Press 0to rewind or press )to fast- forward the tape to the counter’s zero point. The tape stops automatically when the counter reaches approximately zero.

Mediante el uso del mando a distancia, es posible retroceder fácilmente al punto que desee de la cinta tras la reproducción. Para ello, emplee el contador de cinta. Si el código de tiempos RC aparece en el visor electrónico, ajuste COUNTER en NORMAL en el sistema de menú para visualizar el contador de cinta.
(1) Durante la reproducción, pulse COUNTER RESET en el punto que desee localizar posteriormente. El contador mostrará “0:00:00” en el visor electrónico.
(2) Pulse ¹cuando desee detener la reproducción.
(3) Pulse ZERO MEM en el mando a distancia. El indicador ZERO MEM parpadeará en el visor electrónico.
(4) Pulse 0para rebobinar la cinta o ) para que avance rápidamente hasta el punto cero del contador. La cinta se detendrá automáticamente cuando el contador llegue aproximadamente a cero.

Notes on the tape counter
•Something must be recorded on the tape in order for the tape counter to function. Tape counter does not work on a blank tape.
•There may be a discrepancy of several seconds from the actual time.
Notes on ZERO MEM
•When you press ZERO MEM, the counter’s zero point is memorized. Press ZERO MEM again before rewinding to cancel the memory.
•This function is cancelled automatically once the tape is rewound or advanced to the point you
•ZERO MEM does not function during 80 recording or playing back.
