UPDATING CONTROLLER SOFTWARE
There are two types of controller software updates:
nRecovery update—Replaces the operating system (OS)
software and the controller software from the bootable
e-STUDIO GL-1010 Recovery CD-ROM.
nMaintenance update—Installs upgraded GL-1010 modules
only from the e-STUDIO GL-1010 Recovery CD-ROM.
This chapter includes procedures for performing both the
Recovery and Maintenance updates.
