3If a fax signal is not sensed when the machine answers the call, you will hear a second ringing tone indicating a voice phone call.
4Lift the handset to answer the call. If the voice call is not answered within a specified time, the machine will switch to automatic fax reception mode.
Receiving Manually in TEL Mode
If you have an ordinary phone connected to the EXT. LINE jack on the back of the machine, you can answer voice phone calls and receive faxes manually.
