Glossary of Terms & Definitions
The following terms and definitions pertain to the Xerox WorkCentre 385.
Term | Definition |
ANS/FAX Mode | To use this mode, you must have an answering |
| machine attached to the EXT.LINE jack on the |
| back of the machine. In ANS/FAX mode, the |
| machine automatically answers the phone call. |
| If the machine detects a fax signal, it will receive |
| that fax. If a fax signal is not detected, the |
| machine will send the call to the answering |
| machine. For this function, the LCD display on |
| the control panel shows ANS/FAX. |
Automatic Paper | You can stack up to 150 sheets of plain paper or |
Feeder | up to 10 envelopes or other special media in this |
| feeder. It will feed the loaded sheets |
| automatically. |
