Side access panel

Before accessing the internal components of the workstation, you must remove the side access panel. This section describes how to remove and install the side access panel.

Removing the side access panel

WARNING! Before removing the workstation side access panel, be sure that the workstation is powered off and that the power cord is disconnected from the electrical outlet.

1.Disconnect power from the workstation (see Predisassembly procedures on page 73).

2.Remove locks that are present, such as cable lock or side access panel key lock.

3.Pull up on the handle and rotate the side access panel off the chassis 2 as shown in the following figure.

Installing the side access panel

1.Align the bottom groove of the side access panel with the bottom edge of the chassis.

2.Rotate the side access panel toward the chassis and press firmly until the latch engages.
