To Customize the Auto-Attendant Message

From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.

• Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until “System Programming” is displayed.

Select “System Programming”.

Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.

Select “Change greetings”.

Select “Auto Attendant Day” or “Auto Attendant Night” to record the “Day Service” and “Night Service” greetings respectively.

Select “Record Greeting”.

When prompted, speak to record the new greeting.

Press “Confirm” when the recording has been completed.

Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.

Recording a Temporary Auto-Attendant Greeting

A temporary auto-attendant greeting can be recorded and activated remotely. This is intended to allow users to temporarily change the greeting used for auto attendant day and night and courtesy service day and night.

Access any mailbox and while listening to the prompt “You have x new messages etc” dial 931 and record the temporary greeting. Press # to finish recording and hang up.

This greeting is played to all callers answered by the auto-attendant or the courtesy service

To turn the greeting off and revert to the normal auto attendant and courtesy greetings access any mailbox and while listening to the prompt “You have x new messages etc” dial 933. The temporary greeting is deleted.

To Change the Auto-Attendant Language

The Auto Attendant language can be programmed to be English, French or Spanish. The default language is English.

From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.

• Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until “System Programming” is displayed.

Select “System Programming”.

Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.

Select “Language”.

Select “Voice Module” to change the Auto-Attendant language

Select the language required.

Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.

To Change the Ringing Time before Calls Hear the Auto-Attendant Greeting

You can change the time that a call will ring before being automatically answered by the Auto-Attendant. A different time can be set for day and night modes as follows:

From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.

• Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until “System Programming” is displayed.

Select “System Programming”.

Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.

• Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until “Timers” is displayed.

Select “Timers”.

• Press the Scroll Down key ( ) and select “Auto Attendant Day” to change the timer used when the system is in day mode or “Auto Attendant Night” for the timer used in night mode.

Enter the time required in seconds (04 - 30).

Press “Confirm”.

Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.

Note: If the value is set to 4 seconds calls to the Auto Attendant are answered immediately.
