Answering Voice Request

your fax machine automatically sends a call back message to the remote site giving a telephone number where you can be reached.

A call back message is only sent if you have programmed a call back number into your fax machine. Refer to “Setting Fax Machine Identification” on page 25.

Answering Voice Request

1. Lift the handset and press the Hook/V. Request key.

Advanced Operations

Broadcast

A broadcast fax is a fax sent to several locations and is a one- time event. It consists of a collection of destinations (fax and/or email addresses) and is NOT saved (programmed) into the machine.

A broadcast can be any combination of One-Touch or Auto-Dial keys or manually entered number(s) from the numeric keypad. If an email address is required, only those pre-programmed can be used. The manually entered numbers must be entered last.

Refer to “Programming Auto Dial Numbers” on page 31 for further reference.

Perform a Broadcast Operation

1.Load your documents.

2.Enter locations by pressing One-Touch keys or Auto Dials.

3.After pressing the first entry, you have three seconds to enter the next location in your broadcast list. The machine groups the list of numbers for the broadcast. You must enter the One-Touch and Auto Dial numbers before entering manual
