The distances in which you can operate this unit remotely from a smartphone with a direct Wi-Fi
connection are as follows:
jIndoors: within approximately 10 m
jOutdoors: within approximately 6 m
≥Depending on your smartphone and the radio wave cond itions, you may not be able to operate
this unit remotely.
Preparations before using remote operation
1Install the smartphone application “Image App” on your smartphone. (l119)
2Check if the smartphone is an Android (NFC-compatible), Android (non-NFC-
compatible), or iOS device.
≥If your smartphone is NFC-compatible, a message asking you to tou ch the NFC mark on the
device will be displayed when starting up the “Image A pp”.
