HDMI is the interface for digital devices. If you connect this unit to a HDMI compatible high definition TV and then play back the recorded high definition images, you can enjoy them in high resolution with high quality sound.

By connecting this unit to a 4K-compatible TV and play back scenes recorded with their size set to C4K (4096k2160) or 4K (3840k2160)* in [REC FORMAT], you can enjoy finely-detailed 4K motion pictures. Even though the output resolution will be lower, you can also play them back by

connecting this unit to a high-definition TV or other device that does not support 4K motion pictures.

*To output scenes in the recording format option [4K/60p 150M], you need a TV that supports 4K/60p.

If you connect this unit and a 4K-compatible TV in Recording Mode, even when [REC FORMAT] is set to a setting with a size of C4K (4096k2160) or 4K (3840k2160), images are output to the TV in 1920k1080.
