[Device Name]
You can view and change this unit’s Device name (SSID), which is used for operating this unit as a wireless access point.
1Touch [INPUT], and enter the desired Device name (SSID).
≥Input up to 20 characters are recommended. All the characters cannot be confirmed when displaying the Device names on this unit if a long Device name is used. (l 126)
≥For details on how to enter characters, refer to page 124.
2Touch [EXIT].
≥If you are going to connect directly to a smartphone after changing the Device name (SSID), set the connection again with the changed Device name (SSID). (l 126)
≥The Password entered during the setting of direct connection cannot be changed. (l 126)
[IP Address/DNS
Settings]
You can change or check your wireless LAN’s network settings, such as the [IP Address], [Subnet Mask] and [MAC Address].
[IP Address]/[Subnet Mask]/[Gateway]/[Primary DNS]/[Secondary DNS]/[MAC Address]
≥If you touch [AUTO], the network settings are configured automatically. If you touch [MANUAL], you can set each item. Select the item you want to set, and set it.
≥[MAC Address] cannot be changed.
