When the file size of a recorded scene exceeds one of the followi ng sizes or the recording time
exceeds one of the following lengths of time, the scene will be divi ded automatically.
jAVCHD scene: approximately 4 GB or 30 minutes
jMOV/MP4 scene (when using an SDHC memory card): a pproximately 4 GB or 30 minutes
jMOV/MP4 scene (when using an SDXC memory card): ap proximately 48 GB or 120 minutes
Number of scenes that can be recorded will be less than above in following cases:
jIf you change [REC FORMAT] (l139)
jWhen [2 SLOTS FUNC.] is set to [SIMULTANEOUS]
jDuring the Interval Recording

Register [CAPTURE] to a USER button. (l61)
1Change the mode to Recording Mode. (l22)
Extract the LCD monitor.
2Press the USER button to which [CAPTURE] is registered or touch the
applicable USER button icon to record a still picture.
For information on the locations of the USER buttons and infor mation on USER button icons,
refer to page 61.
When still pictures are being recorded, the remaining re cordable number of still pictures and the
still picture indication are displayed.
