6.1.3The Main Setpoint (HSW)

Bit No.

The main setpoint is a 16 bit word that transmits the required frequency setpoint to the converter. The setpoint is transmitted as a signed integer (-32768 to 32767). The value 16384 (4000 hex) corresponds to +100%.

By means of the parameter P1082, the value 100% is normalized to a plant frequency. In this parameter, the frequency value is entered to which a setpoint of 100% is to correspond over the serial interface.

The output frequency is calculated as follows:

f = (HSW x P1082)/16384

6.1.4The Main Actual Value (HIW)

Bit No.

The main actual value is a 16 bit word that transmits the converter’s actual frequency output. The normalization of this value corresponds to that of the setpoint.
