Repeating Data, Version 1

Horizontal Repeat

Horizontal Version 1 repetition can be accomplished by bracketing the commands and data to be repeated with the commands shown below:

Command ^Snntt^-<data>^-^S^-

Arguments

^S

Version 1 Horizontal Repeat Command

nn

Number of times to repeat (00 to 99).

ttNumber of 0.10 increments to move after each repeat.

<data>

Data to be repeated.

^S^-

Version 1 Horizontal Repeat Terminator.

NOTE: Auto increments/decrements are not supported within a Version 1 horizontal repeat.

Example: The command sequence, ^S0225^-^M0202Horz^_^S^- prints:

Vertical Repeat

Vertical Version 1 repetition can be accomplished by bracketing the commands and data to be repeated with the commands shown below:

Command ^Rnnnn^_<data>^-^Z^-

Arguments

^R

Version 1

Repeat Command

nnnn

Number of times to repeat (0000-9999)

<data>

Data to be repeated.

^Z^-

Version 1

Vertical Repeat Terminator.

Example: The command sequence ^R0003^-^M0202Vertical Repeat^-^- prints:

NOTE: Version 1 Vertical Repeats may be nested only two levels deep (i.e., an outer repeat and an inner repeat).
