4 Replacement Procedures 4.6 Keyboard/Bottom cover

3.Insert your nails in the slot on the right and left of the keyboard holder and lift it up to remove.

4.Remove the following screws securing the keyboard.

• M2⋅3B S-THIN HEAD screw x2

5.Pick up the top of the keyboard from the front and disconnect the flexible keyboard cable from PJ445 on the system board.

Installing the keyboard

The following describes the procedure for installing the keyboard (See Figures 4-9, 4-10).

1.Connect the flexible keyboard cable to PJ445 on the system board.

2.Install the keyboard and secure it with the following screws.

• M2⋅3B S-THIN HEAD screw x2

3.Install the keyboard holder.

4.Close the display

5.Install the bottom cover and secure it with the following screw.

• M2⋅4B BIND screw x1
