Printer Interrupt Key
Jobs on the Wide Format Copy System have the following priority:
1.Any job currently printing
2.A copy job that is ready to print
3.A remote print job.
If a remote print job is in progress, a copy job (one or more images captured by the Scan System) cannot normally use the Printer until the remote print job has finished. The Printer Interrupt key enables you to switch the copy priority from normal to high.
To process a copy job immediately, press the Printer Interrupt key. The Printer Interrupt indicator lamp illuminates. The current pages of the most current remote print job are completed. Usually a maximum of two pages are printed. The print job is then suspended and you can run copy jobs. When the copy jobs are finished, you can press the Printer Interrupt key again. The Printer Interrupt indicator lamp is extinguished. The interrupted remote print job resumes.
If you send no more copy jobs, press no keys, and scan no documents, the Printer Interrupt feature is automatically disabled after a time set by the PRINTER INTERRUPT timer. Refer to "Timers" in the "Main Menu, CONFIGURATION" section for instructions about how to set this value. The default value is 1 minute. It can be set to a value between 1 and 99 minutes.
