System Commands

The system commands control the system-level functions of the ac source.

Subsystem Syntax

SYSTem

 

:CONFigure <mode>

Selects the operating mode of the ac source (NORM IEC)

:NOUTputs <n>

Select the number of output phases ( 1 or 3 )

:ERRor?

Returns the error number and error string

:VERSion?

Returns the SCPI version number

:LANGuage <language>

Sets the programming language (SCPI E9012)

:LOCal

Go to local mode (RS-232 only)

:REMote

Go to remote mode (RS-232 only)

:RWLock

Go to remote with lockout mode (RS-232 only)

SYSTem:CONFigure

Agilent 6812B, 6813B, 6843A Only

This command sets the overall operating mode of the ac source. The choices are:

NORMal

IEC

Causes the unit to operate in standard ac source mode.

Modifies the basic behavior of the transient and measurement systems to facilitate harmonic and flicker emissions testing. (IEC mode is automatically selected when running the Agilent 14761A Harmonic and Flicker Emissions Tests software application.)

Refer to SYSTem:CONFigure in appendix E for more information about the differences between Normal mode and IEC mode.
