Clearing RAM

RAM can be cleared using the RAM_MANAGER program in the Test Set’s ROM. This program clears all RAM, including any SAVE/RECALL registers saved to Internal RAM.

This program is accessed by running the IB_UTIL program.

Step 1. Select the SOFTWARE MENU screen.

Step 2. Select the Select Procedure Location: field and choose ROM.

Step 3. Select the Select Procedure Filename: field.

•Select IB_UTIL from the list of programs. Press Run Test to display a list of procedures; select RAM_MANAGER and follow directions to clear RAM.

To preserve the SAVE/RECALL registers, do not use the RAM_MANAGER program. Instead, load any other test program from a card or from RAM to clear the previous test program, and then reload the desired test.
