Chapter 3: Installation
SPECIAL NOTE: The relay output is in the normally open position when there is no power to the Hardened Ethernet Extender Switch. Do not connect any power source to this terminal to prevent shorting your power supply.
3.3.4 Reset Button
Press the reset button for more than 10 seconds to reset the Hardened Ethernet Extender Switch back to the default password.
3.4Connecting to Your Network 3.4.1 Cable Type and Length
Follow the cable specifications listed below when connecting the Hardened Ethernet Extender Switch to your network. Use appropriate cables that meet your speed and cablng requirements.

3.4.2 Cabling
Step 1: Make sure the power of the Hardened Ethernet Extender Switch and end devices are turned off.
NOTE: Always make sure that the power is off before any installation.
