Port Authentication

1.Interface: Click on the “Interface” drop-down menu from “Interface” drop-down list to choose the port to be set port-based authentication.

2.Authentication State: Click on the “Authentication State” drop-down menu from the “Authentication State” drop-down list to choose “Enable” or “Disable” to enable or disable authentication state.

3.Port Control: Click on the “Port Control” drop-down menu from “Port Control” drop-down list to choose “Auto,” “Force Authorized,” or “Force Unauthorized” to force a port state. “Auto” enables authentication on port. “Force Authorized” forces a port to always be in an authorized state. “Force Unauthorized” forces a port to always be in an unauthorized state.

4.Periodic Reauthentication: Click on the “Periodic Reauthentication” drop-down menu from “Periodic Reauthentication” drop-down list to choose “Enable” or “Disable” to enable or disable periodic reauthentication.

5.Reauthentication Period <1–4294967295>: Click in the “Reauthentication Period” text box and specify the seconds between reauthorization attempts. The default time is 3600 seconds.
