4Replace the cooling shroud. See "Installing the Cooling Shroud" on page 81.
5Install the optical drive cable. See "Removing the Optical Drive Cable" on page 99.
6Close the system. See "Closing the System" on page 67.
7Reconnect the system and peripherals to their power sources, and turn them on.
Sideplane Board
Removing the Sideplane Board
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. 1Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.
2Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 67.
3Remove the SAS controller daughter card. See "Removing a SAS Controller Daughter Card" on page 87.
4Remove any cables from the sideplane board.
5Pressing inward on the sideplane release tabs, lift the sideplane up and away from the system. See Figure
