Configuring an IBM Server Running the AIX Operating System

This appendix provides platform-specific host installation and configuration information to use when you connect an FC or SATA array to an IBM server running the AIX operating system.

The SANnet II 200 FC, SATA, and SATA SE arrays support versions 4.3.3 and 5.1L of the IBM AIX operating system in dual-path configurations using SANpath failover drivers for IBM AIX.

The RAID controller can be configured by means of a host system running a VT100 terminal emulation program or by a Microsoft Windows terminal emulation program such as HyperTerminal.
