Purpose of this MAP

This MAP is used to locate defective FRUs not found by normal diagnostics. For t procedure, diagnostics are run on a minimally-configured system. If a failure is detected on the minimally-configured system, the remaining FRUs are exchanged

one at a time until the failing FRU is identified. If a failure is not detec added back until the failure occurs. The failure is then isolated to the faili

that

a

CD-ROM drive is installed

and

connected to the

integrated

SCSI

adapter,

and a

Diagnostics CD-ROM

disc

is available.

2. If

a

power-on

password

or privileged-access password is installed, you are

prompted

to

enter the

password

before the diagnostic CD-ROM loads.
