To set the “INITIAL MODE” function

1Select the “MACHINE SETTING” menu.

Refer to “To select the “MACHINE SETTING” menu” on page 9-3.

2Press the [9] key from the 10-Key Pad to select “INITIAL MODE”.

3Using the and keys, select either “COPY” or “FAX”, and then

press the [Yes] key.

The “MACHINE SETTING” menu appears again.
