Mailbox Transmission

The fax can be sent to a recipient’s mailbox.

This is perfect for sending an important document to a specific person.

Note

Mailbox transmission is compatible with F code transmission. Machines compatible with F codes can be specified as recipients for mailbox transmission.

To fax using mailbox transmission

1Position the document to be faxed.

2If necessary, change the “Resolution” setting (p. 6-8).

3Press the [Function] key.

4Press the [3] key from the 10-Key

Pad.

or

Press the [Function] key 3 times to select “MAILBOX TX”, and then press the [Yes] key.

5Specify the recipient, and then press the [Yes] key.

Refer to “Dialing” on page 6-10.

A screen appears, allowing you to specify the mailbox ID.
