Basic Copy Operations

Documents of mixed sizes can be loaded into the Automatic Document Feeder. Refer to “To load documents of mixed sizes” on page 4-2 for more information.

3Select the desired copy settings. For details, refer to “Making Copies” on page 4-9 and “Advanced Copy Operations” on page 5-1.

4Press the [Start] key to begin feeding and copying the loaded document pages, starting from the top page.

To load documents of mixed sizes

Documents containing pages of different sizes can be loaded as a set into the Automatic Document Feeder.

Precautions for loading documents of mixed sizes:

Documents of different sizes can be copied only if all pages have the

same width.

For example: A document consisting of Ledger L (11 ⋅ 17 L)- and Letter C-size pages
