242Chapter 20 Preparing hardware for maintenance or upgrades

7Grasp the advanced function tray latches and partially remove the unit from the main unit. Do not exert force on the hard disk power cables and connectors.

8Disconnect hard disk power cable connectors.

9Disconnect the IDE connector.

10Remove the advanced function tray completely from the main unit.

11Place the advanced function tray on a flat, clean, and static-free surface. If you need to remove the hard disk component, refer to “Removing a hard disk cage from a BCM400 advanced function tray” on page 260.
