Replacing the Toner Cartridge
You should replace toner cartridges whenever the message “Add Toner” appears on the panel display.

RWARNING:
•Do not incinerate spilled toner or used toner. Toner dust might ignite when exposed to an open flame.
•Disposal can take place at our authorized dealer or at appro- priate collection sites.
•If you dispose of the used ton- er containers yourself, dis- pose of them according to your local regulations.

❒Before removing a toner cartridge from the printer, spread paper or some other material around the area you are working to keep toner from making floor dirty.
❒When several toner colors run out at the same time, a message ap- pears on the operation panel. Re- place them in the following order:
A Black
B Yellow
C Cyan
D Magenta

A Open the left cover.

B Slide the lock lever up.

C Carefully pull out the toner car- tridge.
A Hold the grip of the toner car- tridge, and slide it out until you can see the green tape.
