Format

You can use the “Format” function to completely delete all files and options on the storage media, including protected files.

Memory	You can format the built-in memory.	None
Card	You can format the memory card.	None

●If you execute the format function, all files will be deleted completely and the erased files cannot be recovered.

●Formatting the storage media using a different device will cause

“Read errors.”●A memory card with the protection tab set to lock will not be formatted. page 29●Format does not perform at the low battery.●The memory card format is executed by touching “Format.” (VP-HMX10/HMX10N only)

Beep Sound

You can turn the beep sound on or off.

Settings	Contents	On-screen

Off	Cancels the beep sound.	None
On	When on, a beep will sound every time a button	None
	is pressed.

Beep sound is off while recording movie.

Shutter Sound

You can turn the shutter sound on or off.

Settings	Contents	On-screen
		display
Off	Cancels the shutter sound.	None
On	When on, the shutter will sound with each press	None
	of the PHOTO button.

Format (Formatieren)

Mit der Funktion “Format” (Formatieren) können Sie alle auf dem Speichermedium gespeicherten Dateien löschen. Dabei werden auch mit einem Löschschutz versehene Dateien gelöscht.

•Wenn Sie die Formatierungsfunktion ausführen, werden alle Dateien unwiderruflich gelöscht.

•Die Formatierung des Speichermediums mit einem anderen Gerät hat “Read errors” (Lesefehler) zur Folge.

•Eine gesperrte Speicherkarte kann nicht formatiert werden. Seite 29•Format wird nicht bei niedrigerem Akkustand ausgeführt.

•Wenn Sie die Speicherkarte formatieren möchten, berühren Sie “Format” (Formatieren). (Gilt nur für Modell VP-HMX10/HMX10N.)

Beep Sound (Signalton)

Sie können den Signalton ein- oder ausschalten.

Off (Aus)	Der Signalton wird deaktiviert.	Keine
On (Ein)	Bei eingeschaltetem Ton ertönt ein Signal, wenn	Keine
	eine Taste gedrückt wird.

Bei der Aufnahme von Video ist der Signalton ausgeschaltet.

Shutter Sound (Foto-Klickton)

Sie können das Verschlussgeräusch ein- und ausschalten.
