Introduction

Before switching the Altivar on and before using the display module :

Unlock and open the cover of the Altivar to access the 50/ 60 Hz selector switch 1 on the control card. If an option card is present, the selector switch can be accessed through it.

Position the selector switch on 50 or 60 Hz, whichever corresponds to your motor.

Preset operating point :

50 Hz position (factory setting) :

-230 V 50 Hz for ATV58••••M2

-400 V 50 Hz for ATV58••••N4

60 Hz position :

-230 V 60 Hz for ATV58••••M2

-460 V 60 Hz for ATV58••••N4

The display module is used for :

-Displaying the drive identification, electrical values, operating or fault parameters

-Altering the Altivar settings and configuration

-Operating in local control mode via the keypad

-Saving and restoring the configuration in a non-volatile memory in the display module

Return to factory settings:

- Switch off the drive

Unlock and open the Altivar cover in order to access the 50/60 Hz switch 1 on the control card. If an

 

option card is present, the selector switch can be accessed through it.

Change the position of the 50/60 Hz switch 1 on the control card

-Switch on the drive

-Switch off the drive

- Reset the 50/60 Hz switch 1 on the control card to its initial position (nominal motor frequency) Switch on the drive, and it reverts to its factory configuration.
