Youcan check the A3/B3 FC link using the Storage Automated Diagnostic
Environment, Diagnose—Testfrom Topology functionality. Storage Automated
Diagnostic Environment’s implementation of diagnostic tests verify the operation of
user-selected components. Using the Topologyview, you can select specific tests,
subtests, and test options.
Refer to the Storage Automated Diagnostic Environment User’s Guide for more
information.
FRU Tests Available for the A3/B3 FC Link
Segment
■The Linktest is not available.
■The switch and/or GBIC - switchtest test:
■Can be used only in conjunction with the loopback connector.
■Cannot be cabled to the virtualization engine while switchtest runs.
■No virtualization engine tests are available at this time.
