Setting up a PostScript driver for Windows NT 4.0

TekColor color corrections and other PostScript Level 2 printer features are supported by the Windows NT 4.0 PostScript driver. Follow the instructions below to update your Windows NT 4.0 PostScript driver for use with a Phaser 350 printer. Refer to your Microsoft Windows NT documentation for details on features in the driver.

Note The Windows NT 4.0 driver does not support the PhaserMatchapplication.

These instructions assume a basic familiarity with Windows NT operation and terminology. For additional information about Windows NT, refer to your Microsoft Windows NT documentation.

1.Locate the Microsoft® Driver for Windows NT™ 3.51 and 4.0

(for i386) diskette that was shipped with your printer. Insert the diskette into your computer’s disk drive.

2.Click the Start icon in the taskbar on your screen. In the menu that appears, click Settings. In the Settings menu, click Printers.

3.In the Printers Folder, double-click the Add Printer icon.

4.From the Add Printer menu, follow the Add Printer Wizard instructions until the Manufacturers/Printers window appears.

5.Click the Have Disk button.

6.In the Install From Disk dialog box, type in the disk drive location of the printer’s diskette, such as A:, then click OK.
