3.Remove the packing materials from the maintenance tray. Retain the plastic bag for disposal of the used maintenance tray.

4.Install the maintenance tray by sliding it into the printer.

Note To prevent jams at the media tray, be sure to push the maintenance tray into the printer until both sides latch firmly into place.

5.Close the front cover.

Caution If you move or ship the printer, be sure to remove the maintenance tray to protect the printer from damage. Refer to “Moving Your Printer” on page 5-39 for more information.
