Logical Address Switch Settings
You can set the logical address of the mainframe with the switches on the rear panel. Figure 1±15 shows the locations of the logical address switches on the rear of the Enhanced Monitor panel.
In most cases, you can leave the switches in the factory default position of FF. This allows the mainframe to dynamically configure the address. However, make sure that no other module has the same slot address as the Enhanced Monitor board. If all VXI modules in the mainframe are set to FF, the resource manager will ªdynamicallyº configure the module's logical address. If a VXI module is set to a logical address other than FF, you must be careful to choose a unique address. See Enhanced Monitor Board Jumpers on page B±4 for information on configuring the jumpers on the Enhanced Monitor board.
