The following mapping mode options are available:
•Use Printer Default
This option overrides job settings and uses printer default settings.
•Monochrome
This option specifies black and white printing only.
•Pictorial
This option is for use with photographic images. It uses luminance information to map full color to highlight colors. The color portions of an image that are the same color as the specified extraction color are printed in a shade of the highlight color.
•Presentation
This option is for use with presentation graphics. It uses hue information to map full color to highlight colors. Any color element in the graphic is printed in a shade of highlight color.
•Automatic
This option chooses a mapping method on an
•ColorToHighlight
This option discards the hue information and preserves the saturation and value of the color application.
•Color Tables
This option uses preset color tables to perform the mapping. It is provided for compatibility and has no effect with cyan.
To select a rendering algorithm:
1.From the Highlight Color Setup dialog box, select the [Rendering Algorithm] list box.
