7.Printing using the Internet Printing Protocol
Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) is an application level protocol that can be used for distributed printing using Internet tools and technologies. The protocol defines interactions between a client and a server, which allows your printer to print documents submitted through the Internet.
Windows 2000 supports IPP version 1.1. With this support, Windows 2000 users can connect NPS/IPS printers to the Internet and send documents directly from a Web browser to be printed.
Refer to your Windows 2000 documentation for printing via IPP.
