Preparing Your System for Upgrade

Have the following tools available:

■ Phillips screwdriver (#1 bit and #2 bit)

■ Flat-head screwdriver

■ Small needle nose pliers

■ Pen or pencil

■ Utility knife

■ ESD workstation or antistatic wrist strap

(recommended)

■ IC removal tool.

Equipment Log

Use the equipment log form located at the end of this

manual to record the model and serial number o f your

system, all installed options, and any other pertinent

information specific to your system. You will need this

information when configuring y our syste m.
