Log and Report

38.1 Overview

Use these screens to configure daily reporting and log settings.

38.1.1What You Can Do In this Chapter

•Use the Email Daily Report screen (Section 38.2 on page 485) to configure where and how to send daily reports and what reports to send.

•Use the Log Setting screens (Section 38.3 on page 487) to specify settings for recording log messages and alerts, e-mailing them, storing them on a connected USB storage device, and sending them to remote syslog servers.

38.2 Email Daily Report

Use the Email Daily Report screen to start or stop data collection and view various statistics about traffic passing through your ZyWALL.

Note: Data collection may decrease the ZyWALL’s traffic throughput rate.

Click Configuration > Log & Report > Email Daily Report to display the following screen. Configure this screen to have the ZyWALL e-mail you system statistics every day.
