Configuring IPX RIP and SAP 9-11

Remote Site (WAN)	IPX RIP and SAP parameters can be configured on the remote site IPX
RIP and SAP	Modify screen.
	Access this screen by going to the OfficeConnect Remote 840 home
	page.

1Select Configuration > Remote Sites (WAN), and click Modify. This will access the Remote Sites General Modify Screen.

2Continue clicking Next to advance through the ATM Modify, IP Modify, and IP Advanced Modify screens.

3Click Next to proceed to the IPX Modify screen.

4Using the IPX Routing box, select the mode for RIP and SAP operation:

■Broadcast — Send RIP and SAP packets.

■Broadcast & Listen — Learn from RIP and SAP packets and send RIP and SAP packets.

■Listen — Learn from received RIP and SAP packets.

■Respond Only — Only respond to received RIP and SAP packets.

■None — Neither send nor receive RIP and SAP packets.
