Caution: Because Support Tools Server installs the Apache Tomcat Web Server as a service, and with specific port requirements, DO NOT install it on a machine with a pre-existing installation of Tomcat in use by other applications.

Note: Optionally, if you plan to configure the Support Tools dashboard Login page to use SSL (so that passwords are sent encrypted) an appropriate server certificate must be installed and SSL configured in Tomcat.

Network Access to ICM Nodes

Ensure that the machine on which you will be installing Support Tools Server has network access and administration rights to each ICM node on which the Support Tools Client will be installed.
