Determining the Maximum Storage

Maximum storage capacity factors in a server include:

■The number of option slots used for other purposes

■The number of available internal drive bays

■The number of logical drives or drive controllers allowed by the operating system

The maximum number of controllers and drives supported depends on several factors. To determine the number of drives supported by your server, refer to your server documentation. Server specifications are also available at the Compaq website at http://www.compaq.com.
