Compaq Smart Array 3200 Controller Reference Guide | Compaq

The Smart Array 3200 Controller has two Very High Density Connector Interface (VHDCI) connectors on the mounting bracket for Ports 1 and 2. Optional daughterboards (included in the Smart Array 3200 Controller option kit) provide one or two 68-pin Wide-Ultra SCSI- 3 connectors for internal drives. This provides SCSI ports externally, internally, or both, without additional cabling to route internal channels externally or vice versa. There is no Y cable required for the Smart Array 3200 Controller.
