POST Error Messages

The Smart Array 3200 Controller produces diagnostic error messages at reboot. Many of these Power-On Self-Test (POST) messages are self-explanatory and suggest corrective actions for troubleshooting. Detailed information and corrective actions are listed below.

NOTE: SCSI Port 1 refers to internal or external drives attached to the internal

Port 1 connector. SCSI Port 2 refers to external drives installed in a Compaq

ProLiant Storage System attached to the external Port 2 connector.
