Installing Summit Family Switches

5At the front of the switch, place a front mounting bracket against each side of the switch, in front of the ventilation openings in the side of the switch (Figure 100)

6Using the provided screws, attach each front bracket to the switch (Figure 100).

7Slide the switch back in the rack until the front mounting brackets are against the front of the rack post (Figure 101).

8Using mounting screws suitable for your equipment rack, secure the mounting brackets to the front of the rack post.

After the switch is secured to the rack, install and connect as described on page 135 for AC power supplies or on page 136 for DC power supplies.
