Front-Mounting the Switch in a Two-Post Rack

To front-mount the switch in a two-post rack:

1Place the switch upright on a secure work surface.

2Place a front mounting bracket over the mounting holes on one side of the unit, with the flange at the front of the switch (Figure 102).

3Insert and tighten seven screws to secure the bracket to the side of the switch.

4Repeat steps 2 and 3 to attach the remaining front bracket to the other side of the switch.

5Slide the switch into the rack until the mounting bracket flanges are against the rack posts (Figure 103).

6At each side, fasten the mounting bracket to the rack post using suitable screws.
