Installing Summit External Power Supplies

NOTE

For centralized DC power connection, this product is intended to be installed in restricted access locations (dedicated equipment rooms, equipment closets, or the like) in accordance with Articles 110-16, 110-17, and 110- 18 of the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.

CAUTION

Do not use the rack-mount brackets to suspend the EPS-T2 from under a table top or desk, or to attach the EPS-T2 to a wall.

Rack-mounting the EPS-T2

To install the EPS-T2:

1Place the EPS-T2 upright on a secure surface, with the front facing you.

2Remove the mounting bracket kit from the packaging.

3Attach the mounting brackets as follows:

a Place a mounting bracket over the mounting holes on one side of the EPS-T2 (see Figure 156). b Insert the provided screws and fully tighten with a screwdriver.

cRepeat steps a and b for the other side of the EPS-T2.

4Slide the EPS-T2 into a 19-inch rack and secure it using appropriate rack-mount screws.
