For example, to set the 3820 modem to use COM1, where the baud is 19200, enter 20 as the dial line rate as shown below:

7Disconnect the terminal.

8Connect the modem to COM port 1.

Note: COM port 2 (COM2) is reserved for the TAM.

The system activates the RTS, CTS, and LSD indicators.
