The diagnose bus 1 command tests a bus while it is in service.

Synopsis

diagnose bus 1

Description

The diagnose bus command changes the temporary state of a unit to diagnostic (DIAG). If a unit fails the diagnostics, the permanent state is changed to BROKEN; otherwise, the permanent state is unchanged.

The output is sent to the screen and also saved to a file in /vs/data/diagnose called busDiag.1.
