diagnose card

-i— Enables secondary command registration. See the description of -ifor LSPS/SSP cards below.

For LSPS/SSP cards, the valid options are:

-n— Disables prompting from the system whether to wait until a conflict has been resolved (see the -ioption) or to terminate the request to diagnose.

-i— Enables secondary command registration. If T1 diagnostics are being run, this option allows another card to be diagnosed. If -iis used and another maintenance command is being run (remove, detach, attach, restore), the request to diagnose a non-T1 card is blocked and a message is printed to the screen. If -iis not used and any maintenance command is being run, the request to diagnose card is blocked and a message is printed to the screen.

If the command is permitted to run, a check is made to see if the command is in conflict with another. A command is in conflict if the card or card associated with it:

~Is the T1 card being diagnosed

~Has an interdependency with the T1 card being diagnosed (for example, PRI)

If one of the above conflicts exist and -nis not used, the user is asked whether to wait until the conflict is resolved or to terminate the request. If T1 diagnostics are executing online tests and a conflict is detected, the diagnose card command is blocked. If T1 diagnostics are executing
